With a powerful Password Manager, Secrets Manager, and passwordless technology, Bitwarden makes it easy to protect your online identity across all devices. Trusted by users worldwide, Bitwarden is dedicated to keeping your digital life safe with transparency and security at its core.

Solution

Pineapple proudly partnered with Bitwarden to build and maintain a strong, trusted brand identity. From the start, we worked closely with their product, brand, and marketing teams to evolve and extend their brand, aligning with their mission to safeguard enterprise secrets and personal information. Our collaboration resulted in a cohesive brand presence that spans web, product, social media, and advertising, ensuring consistency and trust at every touchpoint.

01 Brand Identity

Our first project was partnering with the Bitwarden brand team to enhance and expand their brand identity. This update supported their goal of evolving from an individual password protection app to a comprehensive enterprise secrets and security platform, positioning them for growth and innovation.

02 Icon Library

Next, we built on the updated brand foundation to create a versatile set of assets for Bitwarden’s website, blog, and landing pages. This included developing an icon library that expanded their original icons, aligning with the brand style and tailored to fit their unique market and product needs.

03 OOH Campaign

Although we don’t typically create advertising campaigns, brand campaigns can be key for growth. Bitwarden saw an opportunity to reach business travelers in the New York Metro airport lounges at JFK, La Guardia, and Newark and asked us to develop an out-of-home campaign to boost awareness and encourage new and deeper engagement.

04 Product Design

A brand extends beyond marketing—it should shape product design and development. As Bitwarden grew from a developer-focused password manager to an enterprise security platform, the need for an intuitive, brand-aligned interface arose. Pineapple collaborated with Bitwarden to update their desktop and mobile interfaces, enhancing user experience and brand consistency.
