Seae Ventures invests in top founders building breakthrough early-stage healthcare technology and services companies.

As part of an ongoing two-year partnership, we launched our latest project, Seae Perspectives 2025 Issue 02 Behavioral Health, with Seae Ventures this week at the JP Morgan Health Care Conference.

In any given year, roughly 23% of US adults and 20% of adolescents experience some form of mental illness. For those living below the federal poverty line, these numbers roughly double. Unfortunately, the majority don’t receive adequate care— if any—for their potentially debilitating conditions. In this report Seae further explores the depth of the mental/behavioral health crisis. They also highlight the specific areas where they believe they can continue to help. Though still early in their individual and collective journeys, companies like Willow Health, Cayaba Care, MD Ally, and CareAcademy are all making an impact.

The crisis is here. It is real and it is growing. Our youth, our future, need our help. It’s up to us to continue to bring innovative solutions that meet the mental health needs of this generation.
